Healthy Recipes Using Mamey Fruit

1. Mamey Gluten-free Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients 

Mamey fruit: 30gRolled oats: 30gChia seeds: 5gEgg: 1Raisin: 10gVegan butter: 30gSunflower seeds: 5gJaggery (powdered): 15gCinnamon: 2g

Method

Preheat the oven to 350 F.Combine jaggery with butter. Mix and beat it until it appears creamy. Now add vanilla, chia seeds, egg and mix well. After 2-3 minutes, add mamey, nuts, and cinnamon. Lastly, stir in raisins, oats, and sunflower seeds. Now, place the mixture on an oiled sheet. Leave about two inches from the other. Bake for 10 to 12 mins until they turn light golden brown around the edge. Serve hot and enjoy.

2. Healthy Mamey Smoothie

Serve: 1Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

Mamey fruit: 100gBanana: 1Ice: 20g (optional)Oatmeal: 30gCinnamon: 2gMilk: 100mlDates: 3

Method

Blend all these ingredients in a blender. Keep blending till it forms a smooth mixture. Pour it in your smoothie glass, garnish with cinnamon powder and consume fresh.Serve cold and enjoy.
