2 cups Water1 tbsp Fresh turmeric grated /turmeric powder1 tbsp Freshly grated ginger 1 stick Cinnamon1/8 tsp Crushed black pepper 1 tsp Raw honey (optional) 1 tsp Lemon juiceFew slices Lemon slices

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine turmeric, ginger, cinnamon stick, and black pepper with water.

Allow for at least 20 minutes of cooking time for the ingredients to permeate.

Strain the tea into a large glass with honey and serve it with lemon slices on the side.
